Lizzie Radford is a Consultant Paediatric Neurologist, a UKRI Future Leaders Fellow, and a Group Leader in the Department of Clinical Neurosciences, University of Cambridge. Her research uses scalable gene editing techniques such as CRISPR/Cas9 to better understand the functional impact of genetic changes, and to use this information to improve genetic diagnosis and identify possible new treatment approaches for children with rare neurogenetic conditions.
