Emily is a ST3 NIHR Academic Clinical Fellow in Clinical Genetics at Sheffield Children's Hospital and a Bicentennial Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of Sheffield. Her research focuses on rare genomic disease and novel therapeutic strategies. She is a Paediatrician by background and completed MRCPCH in 2016. Her PhD investigated novel genetic causes of growth failure in childhood, including the discovery of several noncoding variants causing classic disease phenotypes.
Emily is part of the Early Career Researcher (ECR) Committee organising the National Paediatric Translational Research Conference ECR day on the 15th October.
