Professor Paul Dimitri BSc, MBChB, FRCPCH, PhD is a Consultant in Paediatric Endocrinology at Sheffield Children’s NHS Foundation Trust and Professor of Child Health Technology at the University of Sheffield. He leads services for hypothalamic and pituitary tumours and paediatric late‑effects endocrinology, alongside a research portfolio spanning child health technology, endocrinology and skeletal development. He directs the NIHR HealthTech Research Centre in Paediatrics and Child Health and is Vice President for Science and Research at the RCPCH. As a national leader in paediatric innovation, he has developed national technology networks and the National Centre for Child Health Technology, leveraged over £55 million for child health technology, and is an NIHR Senior Investigator.
